Basic Stir-Fry Sauce

1/3 Cup Chicken Broth
1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
1 Tablespoon Rice Vinegar or Sherry
1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
1/2 Teaspoon Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Toasted Sesame Oil


In a small bowl whisk all ingredients. After stir-frying meat and/or vegetables, pour in sauce and stir until thickened. Add more broth or cornstarch to achieve desired consistency.


Makes about ½ Cup
